Newsletter - October 2006 "Do not be anxious
about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with
thanksgiving, present your requests to God." The students and staff are now settled back into the school year routines. The leaves are changing colour and we are yet again reminded of the beauty of God’s creation. October Calendar Highlights:Monday, 2nd Information for Arts & Crafts must be submitted to supervisors. Monday, 9th Thanksgiving holiday. Tuesday, 17th Annual General Meeting. This is an opportunity for you to get to know the parents of your children’s friends and the operation of Cedar Christian Academy. We strongly encourage at least one parent from each family to be present to discuss the running of the school and voting on the budget. This is a parent-run school and therefore requires the parents to be present to have input into this ministry that each one has chosen for their child. The meeting will commence at 7:00 p.m. sharp and will end at approximately 9:00 p.m. (maybe earlier). Wednesday, 18th School photos at Nazarene campus – pls. note day changed from Thursday Oct. 19th. Friday, 3rd Nov. Last day of 1st quarter.
